Certification: Level 2 Certificate in Emergency First Aid in the Workplace (Valid 3 years)

The Level 2 Certificate in Emergency First Aid for the Workplace is a vocationally related qualification providing candidates with an opportunity to study and be assessed for both the practical and knowledge aspects of emergency first aid in a workplace environment.

Aims of the Course:

• To provide candidates with the skills, knowledge and understanding of emergency first aid to provide appropriate care and manage life threatening conditions, illness and injuries that may occur in a workplace environment.
• To offer the opportunity for an individual who may become the Appointed Person or Emergency First Aider to gain the skills and knowledge to provide quality and effective first aid whenever the need may occur. This is achieved through an understanding of the general duties, legal responsibilities and treatment principles of first aid.
